Hollie Fraser: Where Are They Now?

July 17, 2026

Spoiler note: this post confirms that Hollie Fraser won her season of the Halloween Baking Championship.

Season 9 of the Halloween Baking Championship ran from September 11 to October 30, 2023, and it ended with a first for the franchise. Hollie Fraser of Port Moody, British Columbia became the show's first winner from outside the United States, every champion across the previous eight seasons having been American. Here is her story and where it stands now.

The win

Fraser's finale bake was pure Halloween theater: a black peppercorn buttercream cookie set inside a no-bake cheesecake coffin with a bloody cherry center, which the judges memorably praised as "Gothic funeral realness." That creation sealed the season 9 title, and coverage back home, from the Burnaby Now and Tri-City News, celebrated the Port Moody baker whose creepy concoctions had won big on the Food Network.

Punk Rock Pastries

Fraser's business is exactly what her show persona promised. She owns Punk Rock Pastries in Burnaby, British Columbia, a bakery whose name doubles as an aesthetic statement, and the shop remained her home base after the win rather than a stepping stone away from it. The championship gave a boutique local bakery the kind of profile most shops never get: a champion owner whose style, dark, playful, and heavily detailed, is visible in the case every day.

The public-facing chapter

Since the win, Fraser has built out a modest media layer around the bakery. She runs a YouTube channel, Baking with Hollie, is active across social platforms as @chefholliefraser, and offers personalized videos on Cameo, where fans can order greetings from a Food Network champion. None of it reads like a bid for television stardom; it reads like a small business owner smartly extending a brand the show handed her.

Where things stand now

The well-documented picture is a baker who stayed put and doubled down: Punk Rock Pastries in Burnaby, the content channels around it, and the permanent distinction of being the champion who broke the show's American streak. Beyond that, her post-win life has stayed appropriately low-key in the public record, and the bakery remains the best place to find her work.

She took the title the year after Blayre Wright and the year before Manny Martinez, and the complete champion list is in our guide to Halloween Baking Championship winners. Every season's full record lives on the show hub.
