Jessica and Lenore After Crime Scene Kitchen

August 9, 2026

Spoiler note: this post confirms the winners of Crime Scene Kitchen season three.

Jessica Harrison and Lenore Johnson won the third season of Crime Scene Kitchen when the finale aired on December 5, 2024, taking the $100,000 prize and making history as the show's first champions from outside the United States. The pair are friends and bakery owners from Kitchener, Ontario, and their win turned into a genuine hometown celebration, with Canadian coverage quoting them hoping they had made their little town proud.

How they won

This duo prepared like students cramming for an exam. In post-finale interviews they described watching both prior seasons separately, then together, taking serious notes and borrowing tactics from earlier teams, including a divide-the-kitchen search strategy lifted from a previous duo's playbook. It paid off where the format demands it most: identification. Judges Curtis Stone and Yolanda Gampp score accuracy first, and in the finale Harrison and Johnson produced an almost exact match for the mystery dessert, a two-tier orange semolina olive oil cake with Italian buttercream and orange curd, topped with a modeling chocolate orange blossom, beating the two other finalist duos.

Bakers, not hobbyists

Like the season two champions, both women came in as working bakery owners, and they have described their friendship as partly professional kinship, two people who can talk honestly about the grind of running a baking business. That matters for the where-are-they-now question, because their post-show life had an obvious home: the businesses they already ran in the Kitchener area, now with a Fox title and a hundred thousand dollars behind them.

The honest picture

Season three is the most recent completed season, and the duo's post-win public trail is correspondingly short: finale-week interviews, local Canadian coverage celebrating the first champions from north of the border, and their continuing bakery work. We have not found verified reporting of a major expansion, joint venture, or television follow-up yet, and given the finale aired in late 2024, that is not surprising; the season two champions took the better part of a year to surface their new project too. Rather than pad this out with speculation, we will update as their next chapter gets documented.

What is already secure is the milestone. In a franchise where every champion is a duo, Harrison and Johnson joined a three-team club and widened the show's map in the process. The full list of winning pairs, with air dates and hometowns, is in our Crime Scene Kitchen winners roundup.
